How to Boost your Social Health!

First, ask yourself, are you the entertainment guy or the hilarity girl among your friends? Have you ever been a social flower that blooms with hilarious jokes? Were you known well by contributing in various social events? Well, either way, here are some boost ups to make sure you’re out of your comfortable box and into the world where you healthily socialize.

The simplest and most efficient way to boost your social health is to start knowing more people safely. There are so many ways to do so, with only your imagination as the limit. If you find socializing face to face is difficult You Can always find a pen pal. Having a pen pal is also another healthy way to socialize. It even helps practice and improves your writing! This will save you from awkward pauses and having nothing to say. You can start by practicing having a pen pal. Soon you would find it easy, where you would have gained your confidence so then you have to take another big step out of your comfortable to start socializing face to face.

To start socializing face to face, you can contribute in various social events, where you could easily find from what the school provides. There are always the charity events on the school’s bulletin board, or the school’s sports team. After you chose your choice, just start taking part of the event and talk with the people there. Saying there’s nothing at all to talk is no excuse. It’s just that you still want to stay in your comfortable box. So, now, get moving and do all the talking. You can always comment on what they are wearing or comment on the event you joined to get started. After, introduce yourself and ask their name. Then, viola, the conversation will flow.

Then again you can start with the usual commenting and introducing. If you still struggle after all the introducing, where there’s nothing really to comment on the event you joined, you could talk about some recent news or gossip to spice up the conversation. Try to drive your conversation on talking about something related to the person you are talking to or you; as this is an easy start. You’ve known yourself so long, so how hard is it to talk about yourself? But do not over do this as the person you are talking to might get bored and loose their interest. To grab their interest when you found you are loosing them, talk about something related to them. After the introducing, you would have known quite a lot about them, so there is definitely something to talk about that is related to them. Then, they would do most of the talking, where you will need to listen thoughtfully with occasional ‘UH-HUHs’ or ‘YEAs’to show your interest.

Besides socializing healthily, you too need to socialize safely. Safety is always the most important thing when doing something, especially when socializing. Knowing people you have no idea about on the internet is certainly never advisable; especially when they or you intend to meet together face to face. Besides, the internet’s safety, there are many more ways that could be very dangerous. Always ask your guardian for permission first, where they will be the final ones to decide. So, the main the basic steps to healthily and safely socialize are to find, comment, introduce, talk and keep your friends. When you have the kicks, you would unknowingly socialize healthily with different people, where you eventually will think it’s a piece of cake!
