Michael Buble Tickets – No One Loves Bublé Like Velociraptors Love Bublé
Canadian crooner Michael Bublé has always been a hit with the ladies, charming them with his onstage persona and sweet, tender vocals. But there’s one fan in particular who Bublé would rather not have at his concerts. Yes, it seems he has earned himself a stalker, a huntress of such ability that she can sneak into pretty much any photo-op that Bublé finds himself in.
Clever girl.
The stalker in question? A Jurassic Park velociraptor that has recently become an Internet star, thanks to the site “Michael Bublé Being Stalked by a Velociraptor” (http://bubleraptor.tumblr.com/). It’s one of many bizarre collections of photos You Can find these days on the image-sharing site Tumblr, but this one in particular happens to be awesome if you love Jurassic Park. And who doesn’t? When the film first came out in 1993, no one had any inkling of how ridiculously quote-worthy the movie would become. These days, you can turn to anyone old enough to have seen the film as a kid and say “Dinosaur dr-droppings? Droppings?” and they will know exactly what you’re talking about.
Besides introducing the velociraptor, dilophosaurus and chaos theory to the general public, the movie served as a high water mark in terms of special effects. Audiences showed their appreciation by rocketing the film to the top of the box office charts; a year after its release, it had grossed more than $350 million and had cost an estimated $63 million to make, according to Box Office Mojo.
Bublé, on the other hand, has raked in cash with more than a decade of touring and two albums that have topped the Billboard 200. But Jurassic Park had dinosaurs, so if You Were to compare the two and assess which is more awesome, the movie wins.
So what does Michael Bublé have to do with a predator that died out more than 65 million years ago? We don’t know, and neither do we really care. We suggest Bublé’s fans simply go with the flow and enjoy watching the pop star at, say, the Winter Olympics, keeping their eyes peeled for a raptor head poking over the snowy hills. Or walking through a crowd, no doubt entering an awards show, with the raptor almost imperceptibly blending in at a distance. How does a raptor get in to an awards show? Like we said: Clever girl.
We sort of hope Bublé himself discovers this site, and has enough of a sense of humor to play into it. Maybe, as Rick Astley started to do when the Internet turned him into a meme, Bublé will start acknowledging it in his work. Fans might see a raptor popping up behind his band during shows, or peeking around curtains while he’s singing on stage. If he’s really willing to go all out, he’ll bring someone out in a raptor suit to tickle the ivories while he sings. Somehow, we doubt any of this is bound to happen, but we’re going to keep our hopes up. Get Michael Bublé tickets from StubHub.
